Excellent location for a good price!

The location is excellent! Near the bus station, airport and main touristic spots of Rio de Janeiro! The staff is polite and friendly! The breakfast is good.

One of the elevators was broken. We took a long time to go to the restaurant, to go out. This was the negative point of the property.

once you are checked in facilities are good

it took 4 people at the reception desk to check us in. nobody spoke English. it took forever.. not good at all. how could this be possible for a place like Ibis close to the airport

Clean room, working and strong air conditioning and good shower

Breakfast started 10 minutes late. Doesn’t seem like a lot but I had to rush breakfast a lot to make it to my appointment. Also, late checkout extremely expensive.

Up to the usual ibis standards and close (walkable if you wish) from Santos Dumont airport.

There were huge problems with the internet, which have been as a result of an upgrade on 26 January.

The property is old. They don't have any mini bar facility. The refrigerator is present but nothing inside. Moreover even drinking water needs to be purchased! I really hated this.

Clean budget typical Ibis hotel.

Beds are not comfortable very basic. Just a thin sheet on the bed to cover yourself with. Not pleasant. Thing is that it’s budget but more like hostel type of accommodation. Not that cheap for what you get.

Very good

Value compared to other Rio accommodation (what you would expect from the Ibis brand), convenient location adjacent to downtown airport (SDU) and downtown Rio for historic sites. Room was very standard, nothing fancy but provided the necessary basics, and the4 bed was reasonably comfortable. Bathroom was decent size, larger than expected. Had a dinner at the restaurant, which I was not planning, but it turned out to be tasty and good price. Overall, appealing for the price and services offered, and exactly what you would expect from the Ibis brand.

If you're visiting for a more typical beach leisure vacation, it's not the best location, as it will require taxi/Uber transfers to Copacabana or Ipanema, etc. The elevators were off sync and were slightly annoying to wait for and/or find one that would go to my floor, but maybe just a problem during my visit.
